Abstract

The increase in the 2024 HDI occurred in all dimensions, both longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and decent living standards.

In the dimension of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2024 in Sidenreng Rappang Regency have a life expectancy of 74.45 years, an increase of 0.13 years compared to those born in the previous year. The data source for life expectancy at birth uses the results of the Long Form SP2020 (SP2020-LF).

In the knowledge dimension, the Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) of the population aged 7 years and over increased by 0.01 years compared to the previous year, from 13.02 years to 13.03 years, and the Average Length of Schooling (RLS) of the population aged 25 years and over increased by 0.01 years, from 8.20 years to 8.21 years in 2024. The data source for HLS and RLS uses the results of the March Susenas.

The dimension of decent living standards measured by the average real expenditure per capita per year (adjusted) increased by 470 thousand rupiah (3.69 percent) compared to the previous year. The data source for real expenditure per capita per year uses the March Susenas results.
