Abstract

In January 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sidenreng Rappang Regency of 0.10 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 102.56.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.29 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.26 percent; the health group by 0.12 percent; the transportation group by 0.12 percent; the information, communication and financial services group by 0.05 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 2.05 percent; the education group by 0.15 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.34 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 10.06 percent. The groups that experienced a decrease in the index were the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 10.43 percent; and the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.06 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate for Sidenreng Rappang Regency in January 2025 was 0.74 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate for Sidenreng Rappang Regency in January 2025 was 0.74 percent.
