Perkembangan IHK Kabupaten Sidrap - November 2024

In November 2024, Sidenreng Rappang Regency experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 1.89 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 102.65. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases reflected in the rise of most expenditure group indices, namely the food, beverages, and tobacco group, which increased by 2.23 percent; the clothing and footwear group, which rose by 0.42 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group, which grew by 0.7 percent; the health group, which increased by 0.12 percent; the transportation group, which rose by 0.52 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group, which climbed by 2.57 percent; the education group, which rose by 0.15 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant group, which increased by 1.38 percent; and the personal care and other services group, which surged by 11.21 percent. On the other hand, the household equipment, appliances, and routine maintenance group experienced a decline in its index by 0.83 percent, while the information, communication, and financial services group saw no changes. Furthermore, the month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Sidenreng Rappang Regency for November 2024 stood at 0.2 percent, while the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for the same period was recorded at 0.37 percent.
